What car(s) do you hate to admit you like?

For me it's the Mercedes GL 350 bluetec-550. Every soccer mommy has one, and we should all hate a large beige SUV, but I would DD one in an instant. I even like the last generation one.

Kinja'd!!!

So Oppo. What are some cars that you shouldn't like, but do?

I really like the FJ Cruiser (and have since I saw it as a concept at an autoshow) but I get crap for it every time one rolls by.

The new Challengers. It seems they get hate piled on them (just read the Car& Driver comments on their 2015 SXT review). I love them and everything they stand for, but mention them and you better not have forgotten your flame suit at home.

Yes, it looks "different", but it's unbelievable cool in my eyes because it looks different.

Yeah, I think if the front had a slight re-work I could live with it. I never thought it was that bad in the first place. I saw it for the first time on Top Gear. :)

I wouldn't mind (I actually want one) the GL350, and any R- Class.

I love everything FJ Cruiser!

I always get, "Ew - that thing with the three windshield wipers?"

Yes. Hell yes.

The R-Class was cool. My friend had one. It was almost like an S-Class hatch back.

The PT Cruiser...

- Interior - Rubbish.
- Quality - Rubbish.
- Safety - Rubbish.
- Handling - Rubbish.
- Fuel Economy - Rubbish.

Yet for some odd reason, I still hold them in a pretty high regard.

I, uh, like the 2015 Camry XSE V6. I think it's attractive and the V6 hauls ass. I'd take a blue one with black leather.

But, I also like the Dodge Avenger and Nitro. The Pontiac G6 and G5. The Jeep Patriot and Liberty. Chevy HHR and Malibu Maxx. I could go on....

I don't care how it looks.

This car is sublime in every way. The steering, the handling, the interior, the engine, the brakes, the best seats I have ever sat in, the lovely interior, the massive trunk...I'll even forgive it for having PDK.

It is a fabulous thing to drive. I loved it. I want to drive one again. I want one in my garage. This is a car that can do everything.

This is truly the Porsche of sedans. No four door drives better...no, not even the E90 M3.

The thing about the PT is that it's brilliant retro styling done poorly. The proportions are completely off, and it would have been better off as a Plymouth Pronto.

I'm sorry everyone, but I've really, really liked the Murano CrossCabriolet since it was unveiled in early 2011. Especially in this light turquoise. There's something about it that I love, and I just can't put my finger on it.

The drivetrain, steering, suspension, and chassis are nearly identical from the R to the ML/GL. So R's drive more like truck-based SUV's than mini vans and are much more robust. I always figured this made them seem a bit more respectable.

Oddly enough, my neighbor has one (pictured above). I like the CrossCabriolet too. I think it actually looks better than the Murano in SUV form.

Ignoring the differences between expensive sports-, GT-, super- and hyper-cars for a moment by calling them all supercars, I have to admit that I like the F12.

I like watching supercar videos and I love the entertainment value those cars provide. They are absolutely brilliant and stunning of course and I can understand their appeal. But I'm not interested in owning one at all. Especially the modern supercars are in general too flashy and embarrasing for me. I'd never drive a P1 or Aventador through a city for example.

The F12 is neither restrained nor beautiful and compared to the 458 (Speciale) maybe not the last word when it comes to handling either, so it's weird that I can see myself owning this over the top Ferrari. I can't really explain why and I don't care...

A black one please, thank you!
